“I honestly can not stress enough how much of a nightmare the past year and a half have been. We purchased our house in late 2019, and have had trouble ever since. The house was handed over to us in a complete mess (drywall mud in windows, paint on light fixtures, etc) and we were told it was bought “as is”. If it was just that, I wouldn’t be writing a review, but unfortunately it gets worse. Like most new homes, there are a few issues (that’s what a warranty is for), but Gem Homes does not honor their own warranty. Simple things like nail pops and floorboard gaps are now having to go through arbitration. Would not recommend buying a Gem home to anyone, one of the worst buying experiences of my life.”
